The Odessa School District provides public education for preschool through twelfth grade students who live in the 631 square mile area of Lincoln, Grant and Adams County around the town of Odessa.

Odessa is one of a few communities its size fortunate to have a medical center inclusive of a hospital, long-term care services, assisted living primary care (Odessa Rural Health Clinic) and ambulance services.
